Business Process Management (BPM) Solutions

We can help you become a process managed organization by building a custom Business Process Management System (BPMS) on top of your existing IT infrastructure like existing email systems, databases, user directories, enterprise applications and even your MS Office applications. Once the BPM infrastructure has been setup, we can assist you with process design, process monitoring and exception handling, business performance metrics reporting and process optimization. We can offer the following services to help you transition from rigid, maintenance intensive systems to a process centric IT infrastructure:

Process Discovery and Business Analysis services: We can help define, design and develop a “process layer” that will abstract the business process out of the existing IT applications. In addition, we can help outline, model and develop a separate business rules engine (BRE) to offer better flexibility.

Workflow Automation and Collaboration Solutions development: Using tools such as Visual Studio and VS Tools for Office, we can develop process modeling and monitoring tools to fit your requirements, customize the Microsoft Office System (Outlook, Word, Excel, InfoPath), Exchange, Active Directory and SQL Server to integrate and provide the workflow and collaboration components of a custom BPMS.

Work/Task Portal and Business Performance Metrics programming services: Using technologies such as SharePoint Portal Server, Exchange Server and SQL Server, we can provide a user environment where information workers can access their task lists and managers can analyze performance metrics of processes, current and historical.

Forms Library and Enterprise Web Services development: We can build on top of what you already have so that the forms used in your work portals are consistent with what your users are familiar with. If your users rely on MS Office, we can customize Word, Excel or InfoPath to develop the forms that can be used by your process designers. If your users are more used to web forms, then we can make use of ASP or ASP.NET to ease the transition to a process oriented system.

Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) extension: A BPMS infrastructure orchestrates processes that have both human and application participants. We implement the human interface via the Work Portal or through custom MS Office applications. As far as interfacing with a variety of applications, we extend the BPMS solution by custom programming of BizTalk Server.
